There are several Middle Eastern markets where I live and I have access to labneh. Do I still have to drain it in cheesecloth?

Hi Melanie, sorry for the confusion! You are mixing those ingredients with yogurt. Hope that clarifies!

I agree with the first comment. Is the recipe supposed to include that we incorporate the lemon/garlic/salt mixture into the yogurt and THEN strain?
