Baked Oatmeal Question

Will baked oatmeal bubble over like oatmeal made in the microwave? I would like to make a "thicker" sliced baked oatmeal, but wondering if I have to leave significant room at the top of the pan for bubbling.

I've not made this recipe, but have made similar ones. While they do bubble while baking, I've never had a problem with any of them going overboard. Microwaves cook things differently than an oven does, which is why oatmeal and other things tend to boil over. Just be sure you butter or grease the baking pan really well before you add in the other ingredients. Baked on oatmeal can make it hard to remove neat servings and in the cleanup afterward.
