Are these muffins sweet or savory because I would think they would be sweet with the cocoa but I don’t see any sugar in the recipe?

These would definitely be savory. The recipe for calls for unsweetened cocoa, and there is no sugar. The cocoa, by association, may evoke associations with sweet baked goods, but the actual taste of these won't be sweet.

If you want them to be sweeter, you could add 1/2 cup of sugar. Given the whole cup of cocoa powder, the result will probably not be a sweet muffin. ;o)
