Should I salt frozen meat while it defrosts in the fridge?

Hi all! I'm finally taking the time to go through Salt Fat Acid Heat and am trying to apply the lessons. One thing I have been doing, and which really does help, is pre-salting meat the night before. However, that's always been fresh meat. Right now I have meat defrosting in the fridge I'd like to serve tomorrow (Saturday). How do I go about salting that? Should I just salt it frozen? I would think I have to, my understanding is once you defrost meat you should use it pretty much ASAP. If i have to wait until it defrosts, then I salt tomorrow (Saturday) and eat Sunday. Thanks!
