I agree with Nancy here. I wouldn't recommend freezing the entire assembled pie. The whipped topping in this case will defrost more quickly than the pie itself, and it may alter the texture or even begin to lose its whip, so to speak. I would freeze them separately if you have both parts fully assembled or you could go the extra mile and scrape off as much of the topping as you can into a container. Place the pie in the fridge to defrost for a bit, then transfer the whip cream so they come to temp at the same time.

If you really wanted the absolute best results, I would either hold off on making, or remake, the whipped topping for when the pie itself is defrosted. I'm not the biggest fan of defrosted whip cream and since it comes together quickly, I don't mind the extra work.

Not a good idea. Texture of cream pies doesn't hold up well in freezer.
