A question about a recipe: Pescado Akumal

I have a question about the ingredient "cubanelle or 2 sweet wax peppers" on the recipe "Pescado Akumal" from aargersi.
I'm not familiar with "sweet wax peppers," can you explain?

Sweet wax peppers are the same as banana peppers. We have so many in our garden right now - wish I could share them with you.

Hi Amy! They are long sweet yellow peppers - if you can't find either you could use red or yellow bells as well!!!
