Bought my third one

This is a great ice tray. Our freezer ice maker broke. That always seem to happen! These work great. Ice bags continue to go up in price; they seem expensive, but will soon pay for themselves.

Ice cubes from scratch!

My ice maker broke. Then I had a ice maker for the counter, which also broke.
I have been using my grandmothers ice cube trays from Amana. They are very old and I was down to two. So I ordered your steel cube tray. I love it. Very sturdy. I do not have to run it under water to release the cubes.

What is about nostalgia that one loves. I recall growing up with similar trays but I cannot imagine that the quality was as good as these trays. I stopped using my fridge ice maker and was looking for something other than plastic/silicone. These are perfect.

Love these!

A throwback from my childhood. Nice and heavy, good quality and no plastic! Other reviewers have noted they have a problem getting them to release … the trick is to let them sit out until you hear a pop. So glad I found these!
