That something sweet, though, takes a bit more planning. Dessert isn't known for its portability. For a picnic, you can't just scoop some ice cream and call it a day. I agree with Karl...while all of the above desserts are so wonderful looking, they don't seem easy to eat or tote.

A lot of those recipes look really delicious! But I would rather bring things I could eat with my hands when I am on a picnic. Here are some examples:
