Christmas BBQ

My family has decided to smoke some ribs for our big winter holiday dinner this year. We all love the classic Kansas City style of ribs, but I want to try combine those flavors with something to make them more reflective of traditional holiday tastes. Any ideas?

How about some sort of cranberry/honey glaze? Maybe simmered with a cinnamon stick, clove and ginger?
