Can I use garlic, thyme, parsley, and chives in compound butter?

I don't really want to make a trip to the store for some herbs, will these work or not go together?

Sure, those would be great together. Go for it! If you want to fine tune the flavor profile, try finely cutting each herb separately then blending amounts together until your ratio is how you like it.

You can also add in some Lemon zest to brighten those flavours too! Hope you enjoy!
