I made the recipe that kept turning up on Pinterest that involved cooking an egg in the cavity of an avocado and I can tell you that a warm avocado is not a good thing. This salad looks good, and I know avocados are good, so why wouldn't I just put the salad in the ungrilled avocado and call it yummy?

I agree! Avocados are too soft and IMO best in their natural state, sliced, diced and tossed into a fresh leafy salad!

Will this work with under-ripe avocados? I would think the grilling would soften/ripen them up.
