Those Grilled Double-Cut Lamb Chops, Garlic Herb Butter, Garlic Mashed Potatoes look out of this world. My boys are both home for the summer, and I'm still contemplating a "big" weekend meal, so if no one else wants these, I'd love to try them. ;o)

If y'all are holding back on the grilled pluots, you can use plums just as well in the recipe....

If no one else wants it, I'll take the grilled lemon cake with strawberries and lemon thyme cream.

Fantastic! Pickling cukes are looking great at the farmers markets. I'll take Lacto Fermented Pickles.

I also plan to make these, too, and will leave comments. Already have the cukes, but have been tied up in meetings all week, out of the office, driving more hours in the day than I'd like, etc., so these are on the agenda for Saturday, if I can't make them tomorrow. So looking forward to making, and eating, them!! ;o)

Winnie, I also plan to make them, but I want to wait till we have really good cucumbers.

MrsW: They take a few days of sitting on the counter in the jar to be ready, so for testing purposes, I'd get them started tomorrow, if possible.
And thanks AJ and drbabs for trying them, too, whenever it may be ;)

Lucky you, indeed - looks good and I'm wondering which of the suggestions you will adopt in your version..

Ahhh, when doing my laps this evening, I came up with several wicked new ways to use this ice cream . . . . I plan to try it without the white chocolate, whose cloying sweetness ruins (to my mind) anything you put it in. So, I'll make the basic recipe .. . but what happens next, well, you'll just have to wait until next week to find out. ;o)

Okay, no worries. In a comment above, I selected the cucumber mint ice cream. I plan to make the Pachadi anyway -- always looking for new condiments with Indian spices, given how often we eat spiced dal and similar scrumptious dishes around here -- so I'll comment on it, too! ;o)
