The Air Fryer Recipes mentioned in this article are definitely worth trying! I love how air fryers can make delicious food quickly and with less oil. From shrimp scampi to chicken wings, there's a great variety of recipes to choose from.
I appreciate the author's perspective as a busy cook and gadget geek, highlighting the importance of efficiency and convenience in the kitchen. The idea of combining baking and grilling tasks in one appliance is brilliant, especially for those hot summer days when turning on the oven is not ideal.
I'm especially intrigued by Dr. Urvashi Pitre's cookbooks and will definitely check them out. It's always exciting to discover new recipes and cooking techniques that can make our lives easier and more enjoyable.
Thank you, Food52, for sharing these helpful air fryer recipes. I'm looking forward to exploring more of your content and trying out these recipes in my own kitchen. Keep up the great work! Kathy Brooks circaairfryer.com

i have yet to be satisfied making "crispy" air-fried cauliflower in the appliance. They all seem to be crispy for about two seconds, and then, well, not so much. And getting the flowerets to be all similar in size so they cook evenly is a chore! Will attempt the one here though. Cauliflower is one of my favorite vegetables.

I will say, while I have an air fryer and use it often, it has a few drawbacks. The number one is dry spices and coatings come off and fly around inside, sometimes making a mess, but always coming off the food. number two is cleanup. While it has a copper basket that is supposed to clean easily, even spry oil won't come off. Be prepared to shrug it off like your well used cookie sheets. And yes, mine lives in my pantry, so off the floor, onto the counter. Off the counter, back on the floor. Still is an amazing invention, that I use 4 to 5 times a week.

I recently read that you should never use spray oil on anything that is supposed to be non-stick—that it does not wash off. Can’t remember the science behind it but had to do with a chemical added to the purchased spray oils. Using oil in a mister is okay.

Fun article, full of good info. I just love Food52! I also love my Ninja, but am not allowed to keep it on the counter (I am couch surfing at my elderly parent’s home and Mom says “it’s ugly”.) No matter, the Ninja is also light and easy to carry and lives in the cupboard until it’s needed. Which is almost every night.
