16 Classic Cocktails to Make in 2016

This is the Year of the Cocktail. For me, at least. I like to drink them, but I don't know the first thing about making them! Shaken? Stirred? Is there really a difference, Double-Oh? This year I plan on finding out. Armed with a few key reads and essential tools, these are my 16 classic cocktails to learn in 2016.

Always use fresh fruits and squeeze your own fruit juices, measure carefully until you can eyeball accurately, and make ice with filtered or distilled water (the tap crap sitting in your freezer all week is a no no).
